ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳೆಂಬ ಹದಸ್ಸಳನ್ನು ಸಾಕಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಅವ ಳಿಗೆ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಗಳು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಕನ್ನಿಕೆಯು ರೂಪವತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವಂತಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಅವಳ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಗಳು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ ಅವಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
