ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 5:28
ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನನಗೆ--ಈ ಜನರು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು.

| spake ye when | בְּדַבֶּרְכֶ֖ם | bĕdabberkem | beh-da-ber-HEM |
| unto | אֵלָ֑י | ʾēlāy | ay-LAI |
| me; and the Lord | וַיֹּ֨אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| said | יְהוָ֜ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| unto | אֵלַ֗י | ʾēlay | ay-LAI |
| me, I have heard | שָׁ֠מַעְתִּי | šāmaʿtî | SHA-ma-tee |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the voice | ק֨וֹל | qôl | kole |
| of the words | דִּבְרֵ֜י | dibrê | deev-RAY |
| this of | הָעָ֤ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| people, | הַזֶּה֙ | hazzeh | ha-ZEH |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| spoken have they | דִּבְּר֣וּ | dibbĕrû | dee-beh-ROO |
| unto | אֵלֶ֔יךָ | ʾēlêkā | ay-LAY-ha |
| said well have they thee: | הֵיטִ֖יבוּ | hêṭîbû | hay-TEE-voo |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| they have spoken. | דִּבֵּֽרוּ׃ | dibbērû | dee-bay-ROO |
