ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಒಂದು ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಜನಾಂಗದ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಶೋಧನೆಗಳು ಗುರುತುಗಳು ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳು ಇವುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಮಹಾಭೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದನೋ?

ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ನೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿವಸವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 7:19
ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಉಪದ್ರವ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಉಂಟಾದ ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯನ್ನೂ ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ನೀನು ಯಾವ ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಆ ಜನಗಳಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡು ವನು.

ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಾಸತ್ವದ ಮನೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ದಾಸತ್ವದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ನಾನು ಚಾಚಿದ ಬಾಹುವಿನಿಂದಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪುಗ ಳಿಂದಲೂ

ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ದಾಸ ರಾಗಿದ್ದೆವು; ಕರ್ತನು ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 13:3
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ದಾಸತ್ವದ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅಂದು ನೀವು ಹುಳಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 12:30
ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗೋಳಾಟವಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತವರಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಮನೆಯಾದರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 3:10
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಬಾ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
