Deuteronomy 2:7
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನೀನು ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಬಲ್ಲನು; ಈ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಆತನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವೆನು.

ಲಾಬಾನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಯೆಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರು. ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅನುಭವದಿಂದ ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸಾಕನು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ದನು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.

ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾದನು. ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕುರಿದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಒಂಟೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು, ನೀನು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಾಗಿರುವಿ.
