ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 13:15
ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

| utterly, it destroying | הַֽחֲרֵ֨ם | haḥărēm | ha-huh-RAME |
| אֹתָ֧הּ | ʾōtāh | oh-TA | |
| and all | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| that | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| cattle the and therein, is | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| thereof, with the edge | בָּ֛הּ | bāh | ba |
