ಆಗ ಅವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದವರು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
