Revelation 20:13
ಸಮುದ್ರವು ತನ್ನೊಳಗಿದ್ದ ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿತು; ಮೃತ್ಯುವೂ ಪಾತಾಳವೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದವು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಾಯಿತು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ತವರಾದ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರೂ ದೊಡ್ಡವರೂ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆಗ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಜೀವಗ್ರಂಥವೆಂಬ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕವು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು; ಆ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ

ಮೃತರಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ಬದುಕುವರು, ನನ್ನವರ ಹೆಣಗಳು ಏಳುವವು; ದೂಳಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ; ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತು ಹರ್ಷ ಸ್ವರಗೈಯಿರಿ! ನೀನು ಸುರಿಯುವ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯು ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳಂತಿವೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯು ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಪಡಿಸುವದು.

ಆಮೇಲೆ ಮೃತ್ಯುವೂ ನರಕವೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕೆರೆಗೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಇದೇ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮರಣವು.

ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಈಡು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವೆನು; ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಓ ಮರಣವೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಧೆಗ ಳಾಗಿರುವೆನು; ಓ ಸಮಾಧಿಯೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಶನ ವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪವು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ಮರೆ ಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸತ್ತವನಾದೆನು,ಈಗ ಬದುಕುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಎಂದೆಂ ದಿಗೂ ಬದುಕುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆಮೆನ್. ನರಕದ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣದ ಬೀಗದ ಕೈಗಳೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೆ.
