ಅವನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು.

ಸಿಂಹವು ಹೆಣ ವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ ಹಾಕದೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ವೃದ್ಧನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಗೋಳಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು.
