Judges 18:10
ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಭರವಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ; ಅದು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ; ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಕೊರತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

ಆಗ ಆ ಐದು ಮಂದಿಯು ಹೊರಟು ಲಯಿಷಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿರುವ ಆ ಜನರನ್ನು ನೋಡು ವಾಗ ಅವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತರಾಗಿಯೂ ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು; ಯಾವ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿಯುವ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರ ಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡವೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಕೆಲಸವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನೀವು ಬದುಕಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನಷ್ಟೆ. ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಆರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರೂ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದೆನು.

ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಕೈಯೊ ಳಗಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು, ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರು, ಅಮೋರಿಯರು, ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರು, ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರು, ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
