John 4:1
ಯೇಸು ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಕರ್ತ ನಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯಿತು.

ಇವುಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸುವೂ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಯೂದಾಯ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
