Galatians 3:10
ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧಾರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಶಾಪಾಧೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೇಗಂದರೆ, ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಗ್ರಂಥದೊಳಗೆ ಬರೆದಿರುವವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತ ನೆಂದು ಬರೆದದೆ.

ಶರೀರ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಶತ್ರುತ್ವವು; ಕಾರಣವೇನಂದರೆ ಅಂಥ ಮನಸ್ಸು ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಒಳಪಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಆದಕಾರಣ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿ, ಯಾಕೋ ಬನ್ನು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ದೂಷಣೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 29:20
ಅಂಥವನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಉಳಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಗಲೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವೂ ರೋಷವೂ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಗೆ ಹಾಯುವವು. ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿ ರುವ ಶಾಪವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗುವದು; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡುವನು.
