ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಭೆಯೂ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಭೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಊಟಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ತರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡ ಬಾರದು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿ--ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುವ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥ ವಾದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಭೆಯ ಕೂಟವೂ ಇರ ಬೇಕು.

ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಭೆಯ ಕೂಟವೆಂದು ನೀವು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡ ಬಾರದು; ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 35:2
ಆರು ದಿನಗಳು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧದಿನವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 20:10
ಆದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನವು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನಾಗಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಾಗಲಿ ಮಗಳಾ ಗಲಿ ದಾಸನಾಗಲಿ ದಾಸಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಪಶುಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 16:29
ಅವನು--ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆರನೆಯ ದಿನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿ, ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 16:23
ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಇದೇ--ನಾಳೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ, ಇಂದೇ ಸುಡಬೇಕಾ ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸುಡಿರಿ, ಬೇಯಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 16:5
ಆರನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಂದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟಾಗಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
