Deuteronomy 23:16
ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದೆಂದು ತೋಚಿದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಉಪದ್ರಪಡಿಸಬಾರದು.

ವಿಧವೆಗೂ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯ ನಿಗೂ ಬಡವನಿಗೂ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾರೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಎಂಬದು.

ಆಗ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕೊಂಡನು; ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಂದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.ಅವನು ಹಂದಿಗಳು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಲಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ

ಯಾರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನಾಡದವರೂ ಜಗಳವಾಡದವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಸಾಧು ಸ್ವಭಾವವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಅವ ರಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡು.
ಯಾಕೋಬನು 2:6
ನೀವಾದರೋ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಎಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವರು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಲ್ಲವೋ?
