Deuteronomy 15:15
ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿ ದನೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ಇದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಕಲ ದುಷ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸತ್ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತರಾದ ಅಸಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದಲೂ ದಾಸತ್ವದ ಮನೆಯೊಳ ಗಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.
