2 Samuel 16:1
ದಾವೀದನು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರಹೋದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಮೆಫೀಬೋ ಶೆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಚೀಬನು ತಡಿಹಾಕಿದ ಎರಡು ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರು ಗೊಂಡನು; ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇನ್ನೂರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಗಳೂ ಒಣಗಿದ ನೂರು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಗೊಂಚಲುಗಳೂ ವಸಂತಕಾಲದ ನೂರು ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಒಂದು ಬುದ್ದಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವೂ ಇದ್ದವು.

ಮಿಕ 7:1
ನನಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಕಾಲದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ವರ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಕ್ಕಲು ಆರಿಸುವವರ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ; ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊನೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಮೊದಲು ಹಣ್ಣಾದ ಅಂಜೂರ ವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿಯದೆ.
