2 Corinthians 13:10
ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ, ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಾಠಿಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರ ಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

ನಾನು ಬಂದಾಗ ನನ್ನನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸತಕ್ಕವರಿಂದ ದುಃಖ ಹೊಂದಬಾರ ದೆಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂತೋಷವೇ ಎಂದೂ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಭರವಸ ವಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಈ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ನಿಜವೇ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸು.

ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಾವೇನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
