ಆದರೆ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೇ ಸೆರನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬರ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

ಹಾಗೆಯೆ ಅವರು ಗೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ನಡುವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಗ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ತಲೆ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಬದುಕಲೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನುಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬದುಕಿರುತ್ತಾನೋ? ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನು ಅಂದನು.
