ಆಗ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೋಶೆಯನು ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅವನನ್ನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂವಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇಡು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು ವೆನು.
ಆಮೋಸ 7:9
ಇಸಾಕನ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗುವವು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗುವವು; ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಾರೊ ಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
