ಈ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಆರು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಕ್ಕೆ ತಗಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಾದ ಪೀಠ ಇತ್ತು. ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಎರಡು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೈಗಳಿದ್ದವು; ಆ ಕೈಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವು.

ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬಾಗಿ ಮಲಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು? ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಪ ಉಂಟು.

ಆಗ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನಗೆ--ಅಳಬೇಡ; ಅಗೋ, ಯೂದಾ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸಿಂಹವೂ ದಾವೀದನ ಅಂಕುರದವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಾತನು ಆ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ಏಳು ಮುದ್ರೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಜಯಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
