1 ಶೆಬದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಒಗಟುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಲು ಅವಳು ಮಹಾಗುಂಪಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸುಗಂಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹು ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಒಂಟೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದಳು. ಅವಳು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತಾ ಡಿದಳು.

ಅವಳು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನೂರಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ತೂಕ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಹು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಸುಗಂಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು. ಶೆಬದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂಥ ಸುಂಗಧಗಳು ತರುವಾಯ ಬಂದದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 10:7
ಕೂಷನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಸೆಬಾ ಹವೀಲ ಸಬ್ತಾ ರಗ್ಮ ಸಬ್ತಕಾ ಎಂಬವರು. ರಗ್ಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಶೆಬಾ ದೆದಾನ್ ಎಂಬವರು.

ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋ ನನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಗೊಂಡನು. ಅವನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅರಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂಥ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇರದಂಥ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
