1 ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಕೊಡ ಇತರರೂ ಯೆಹೋ ಷಾಫಾಟನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇವುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯೂ ಆದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಜಯಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
2 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾ 19:11
ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅಮರ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆಯ ನಾಯಕ ನಾಗಿರುವ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಬದ್ಯನು ಅರಸನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ರುವರು. ನೀವು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಕೆಲಸ ನಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವನು ಅಂದನು.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 7:1
ಯೋಥಾಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಆಹಾಜನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರ ಸನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹ ಎಂಬವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾ 19:5
ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದಿಂದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶದ ಕೋಟೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
2 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾ 19:2
ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಹನಾನೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋದನು. ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ ಅವನು--ದುಷ್ಟ ನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕೊಡುವವನಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಬಹುದೋ? ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ರೌದ್ರ ಉಂಟು.

ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಾದ ಇವರು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಅವರ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿವಾಸ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೇವು ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
