ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರ ಠಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಡೆ ಆ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಚೇಚ್‌ ಸೆನೆ ಎಂಬ ಚೂಪಾದ ಎರಡು ಬಂಡೆ ಗಳಿದ್ದವು.

ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಸೌಲನು ಇರುವ ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇತೇಲಿನ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು; ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಉಳಿದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವರ ವರ ಡೇರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರಥಗಳೂ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುದುರೆ ರಾಹುತರೂ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರದ ಮರಳಷ್ಟು ಜನವೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೇತಾವೆನಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.

ದಾವೀದನು ಗಡಿ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದಂಡು ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
