ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು. ಜನರು ಒಂದರ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದಾನಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಹೋದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಯೇಹುವು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯ ದಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರ ಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿ ಸಿದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
