ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅವನು ಇಳಿದು ಹೋಗಿ ಎತ್ತು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಿಂದು, ಕುಡಿದು--ಅರಸನಾದ ಅದೋನೀಯನನ್ನು ದೇವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಯುಳ್ಳ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅರಸನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರತಂದು ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾಗ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದುಅರಸನು ಬಾಳಲಿ ಅಂದರು.
