ಇವರು ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ಮೂಡಣ ಕಡೆ ಯಾದ ಅರಸನ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು; ಇವರು ಲೇವಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಂಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಆಗ ಅವನು ನೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದ ಜನ ರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರ ಬಾಗಲ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅರಸುಗಳ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರ ವರ್ಗಗಳು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆದುರಾಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು.
ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 44:2
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಈ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರಬೇಕು, ಇದು ತೆರೆಯಬಾರದು; ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ ಇದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬಾರದು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇದು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
