Judges 9:9
ಇಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮರ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ--ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಘನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಆ ನನ್ನ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೋ ಅಂದಿತು.

Leviticus 2:1
ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವದಾದರೆ ಅವನ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯು ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನದ್ದಾಗಿರ ಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಯ ಬೇಕು; ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಂಬ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
