ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎದ್ದು ದೇವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕಾ ದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು -- ಯೊಹೂದ ಕುಲದವರು ಮೊದಲು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
