ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಆಗ ಕೆನೆಜ್ಜೀಯನೂ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ ಬರ್ನೇಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ;

அவர்கள் திருவசனத்திற்கு கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களாக இருந்து இடறுகிறார்கள்; அதற்காகவே நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

நம்பிக்கையற்ற மக்களுக்கோ, அவர், “மக்களை இடறச் செய்யும் கல்லாவார். மக்களை விழவைக்கும் கல்லாவார்” என்பதற்கேற்ப இருக்கிறார். தேவனுடைய செய்திக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாததால் மக்கள் இடறுகிறார்கள். அம்மக்களுக்கு தேவன் திட்டமிட்டிருப்பது இதுவே.
