ಕರ್ತನು ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋ ಶುವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ--ಸೂರ್ಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚಂದ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಅಯ್ಯಾಲೋನ್ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿರು ಅಂದನು.
