Jeremiah 5:13
ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಗಾಳಿಯಾಗುವರು; ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗಾಗುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವಂಥ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯೂ ಬರವೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವಂಥ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ತಾವೇ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವಿ? ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತಿರುವವು?

ಆಗ ನಾನು--ಹಾ, ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಕ್ಷಾಮವು ಬಾರದು, ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದೆನು.

ಗಾಳಿಯ ಹಾಗಿರುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗದರಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರೋ?

ಆಗ ಅವರು--ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸೋಣ; ಯಾಜಕ ನಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಿಂದ ಆಲೋಚ ನೆಯೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿಂದ ವಾಕ್ಯವೂ ತಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯೋಣ, ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಲಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಇರೋಣ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಎರಡು ವರುಷದೊಳ ಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿರುಗಿಸುವೆನು.

ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ದಿನಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ, ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವ ದಿನಗಳೂ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಗಳು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ಹಗೆತನವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾ ಗಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಮೂರ್ಖನೂ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ ಹುಚ್ಚನೂ ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
