ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಎಲೀಷಾಮನ ಕೊಠಡಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು; ಯೆಹೂದಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ರಿಗೂ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
