ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆತನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದನು; ಅದನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸದೇ ಜನ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ರೂಪಿಸಿದನು; ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಲ್ಲ.
