Exodus 13:17
ಫರೋಹನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದೇಶದ ದಾರಿಯು ಸವಿಾಪವಿದ್ದರೂ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು--ಜನರು ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಾರು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.

ಕೇಳದೆಯೂ ನೀನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡದೆಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಎದುರುಬಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ದಾಸತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಮನ್ನಿಸುವ ದೇವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೃಪಾಪೂರ್ಣನೂ ಅಂತಃ ಕರಣವೂ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಮಹಾದಯೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈ ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 20:8
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೆ--ಭಯಸ್ತನಾಗಿ ಬಳಲಿಹೋದ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯಾವನು? ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಹೃದಯವು ಬಳಲಿಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 16:2
ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಗೂ ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿತು.
