Deuteronomy 22:17
ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗಳು ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕಂಡೆನೆಂಬದಾಗಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾದ ಕೆಟ್ಟಮಾತಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದರೂ ಇದೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗಳ ಕನ್ಯಾಭಾವದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಸಬೇಕು.
