ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಾವಿರದ ಇನ್ನೂರು ರಥಗಳೂ ಅರವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರಾಹುತರೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಲೂಬ್ಯರೂ ಸುಕ್ಕೀಯರೂ ಕೂಷ್ಯರೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಇದ್ದರು.

ಬಂಗಾರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿರುವದು. ಲೂಬ್ಯರೂ ಐಥೋ ಪ್ಯರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವರು.

ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರಥಗಳೂ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುದುರೆ ರಾಹುತರೂ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರದ ಮರಳಷ್ಟು ಜನವೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೇತಾವೆನಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿದನಗಳೂ ಡೇರೆ ಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಿಡಿತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದರು.

ಹಾಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಕೂಷ್ ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್ ಪೂತ್ ಕಾನಾನ್ ಎಂಬವರು.
