1 Kings 19:15
ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಅರಾಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರಲು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಂಷಿಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹುವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರಲು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿ, ಅಬೇಲ್ಮೆಹೋಲ ಊರಿನವನಾದ ಶಾಫಾಟನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಎಲೀಷ ನನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಿರಲು ಅಭಿ ಷೇಕಿಸು.

ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮೋ ತಿಗೆ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಹೋದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಯೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು.

ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಂಷಿಯ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ರುವ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹುವು ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು. ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೂ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾ ದಿನ ರಾಮೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು.
