ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಫರೋಹನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಹಾರ ವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಆದರೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಬಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಉಜ್ಜೀ ವಿಸಿತು.
