ಏಸಾವನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಬೇರಿಯನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆಹೂದೀತ ಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಏಲೋನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಬಾಸೆಮತಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.
