Genesis 24:59
ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ದಾದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಲಾಬಾನನೂ ಬೆತೊವೇಲನೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನಾದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಾರೆವು.

ನಂತರ ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಒಡವೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದು ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೂ ತಾಯಿಗೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Genesis 24:60
ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರಿ, ನೀನು ಸಹಸ್ರ ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯಾಗು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಅಂದರು.

ತನ್ನ ಮೊಲೆಯ ಕೂಸನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು ಎಂದು ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ. ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನೋ? ನಾನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತೆನೋ?

ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿ ರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ದ್ರವ್ಯಾಶೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡವ ರಾಗಿಲ್ಲ; ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ.
