ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲದ ಯಾವ ಗಿಡವಾದರೂ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳೆದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೊಲದ ಯಾವ ಪಲ್ಯವಾದರೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೊಳೆತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅನ್ಯರ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆ ಕೊಡಬಲ್ಲವು ಗಳು ಉಂಟೋ? ಅಥವಾ ಆಕಾಶವು ಜಡಿ ಮಳೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವದೋ? ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನೀನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆವು; ನೀನೇ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ.
Psalm 135:7
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಏಳ ಮಾಡಿ, ಮಳೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಿಂಚು ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
