Ezra 7:28
ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಹಸ್ತವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿ ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಲು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು ಅಂದನು.

ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ

Ezra 7:9
ಇವನು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೋಗುವು ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕೈ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಐದನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿದನು.

Ezra 7:6
ಈ ಎಜ್ರನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನುರಿತ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅರಸನು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನುನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡು ವದು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಅಂದನು.
