Exodus 33:1
ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್ ಇಸಾಕ್ ಯಾಕೋಬರಿಗೂ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು.

ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು ಎಂದು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ ದಿಯೋ ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನೂ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
Exodus 32:7
ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಇಳಿದು ಹೋಗು; ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನೀನು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸುವೆನು.

ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನೀನು ಹೋರಟು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು; ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ದೂತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು.

ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದುಬರುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಡವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಜನರು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಆರೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಎದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡು, ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಈ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಏನಾಯಿತೋ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು ಅಂದರು.
Exodus 17:3
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ದಾಹಗೊಂಡು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣು ಗುಟ್ಟಿ--ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾಹದಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿ ಅಂದರು.
