Exodus 14:16
ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಣಗಿದ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.

| the sea, | הַיָּ֖ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| divide and | וּבְקָעֵ֑הוּ | ûbĕqāʿēhû | oo-veh-ka-A-hoo |
| it: and the children | וְיָבֹ֧אוּ | wĕyābōʾû | veh-ya-VOH-oo |
| Israel of | בְנֵֽי | bĕnê | veh-NAY |
| shall go | יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| dry on | בְּת֥וֹךְ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| ground through the midst | הַיָּ֖ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| of the sea. | בַּיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃ | bayyabbāšâ | ba-ya-ba-SHA |
