ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಚಿದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಹಗಲಿರುಳೂ ಮೂಡಣಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಉದ ಯವಾದಾಗ ಆ ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿತು.
