Isaiah 43:9
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವವರೂ ಹಿಂದಿನವು ಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು? ನಾವು ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂದು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರತರಲಿ; ಆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಿಜವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ.

Joshua 24:15
ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿ ಕಂಡರೆ ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನೀವು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವಿರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳು ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆ ಸೇವಿ ಸಿದ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನೀವು ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೋ? ನೀವು ಆರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೇ ಸೇವಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದನು.
