Hosea 7:6
ಅವರು ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿ ರುವಾಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಾರನು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅದು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿ ಸುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಿಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಾ ಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಅರಸುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Micah 2:1
ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗುವಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅದು ಅವರ ಕೈವಶದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
