ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರದ ಸೆರಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು, ತನ್ನ ಸೆರಗಿನಿಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನಾದರೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾ ದರೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಯಾವ ವಿಧದ ಆಹಾರವ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದೋ ಕೇಳು ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಜಕರು--ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
