ಕರ್ತನು ಮಮ್ರೇಯ ಮೈದಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ವೇಳೆ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
