Exodus 8:26
ಆದರೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವದು ಯುಕ್ತವಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನ ರ್ಪಿಸುವದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣೆ ದುರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದಾರು.

Deuteronomy 7:25
ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಬೇಕು; ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಆಶಿಸಿ ನೀನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು; ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಉರ್ಲಾ ದೀತು; ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವೇ.
Exodus 3:18
ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವರು. ಆಗ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
