(ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೆನು; ನೀವು ಆ ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಲಿಲ್ಲ.) ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
